About Us
We have been fishing out of the port of Fair Haven since 1990. The spring brown trout fishing is some of the best found on Lake Ontario and the summer salmon season is fantastic. We also catch Steelhead, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye and an occasional Atlantic Salmon. Captain Bob has been fishing Lake Ontario since 1986 and has fished out of numerous ports from Henderson Harbor on the east side to Olcott in the west.
About the Boat
Trophy Nuts is a 299 PennYan Persuader with a fly bridge and fully enclosed cabin. She is powered by twin 350 gas engines, equipped with radar, sonar, GPS, Marine VHF radio, downriggers and a planner board system. There is a stand up head and comfortable seating.
Captain Bob is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, a life member of the North American Fishing Club (NAFC), a member of the Lake Ontario Trout and Salmon Association (LOTSA), and a member of the Fair Haven Chamber of Commerce.
